Geri is the former Head of External Affairs at the National Trust – the third largest landowner in the UK. He has over 20 years’ experience of working with local, regional and national government covering regeneration, planning, housing and infrastructure development. He has advised on the PR and stakeholder engagement aspects of the delivery of mixed use developments, unitary development plans and compulsory land purchases.
He has also contributed to independent reports and reviews of HS2, the protection of the green belt, and runway development. He features regularly in the national media on issues surrounding planning. As a former councillor in the London Borough of Barnet, Geri has a direct experience of frontline politics. Geri has lived in Brighton and Hove since 2006. He is Vice-Chair of Governor’s at Cardinal Newman Catholic School and College – Brighton’s largest secondary school.
