Katharine read history at the University of Leeds and undertook research internships with Dods Parliamentary and Saxton Bampfylde prior to joining Cratus.
She has an approach and an attitude that nicely complements those members of the team who have served as politicians. Cutting through the mess and drawing up collected and a comprehensible plan of action to secure positive results is what Katharine does best.
She has an uncanny ability to unearth local information and intelligence, from the internet to local archives, if it’s there Katharine will not only find it, but know the full implications of the discovery.
Katharine’s pre-purchase planning reports for clients have proved invaluable in helping developers make an informed decision when considering purchasing land. Her detailed assessment of the local political and community scene enables a prospective purchaser to reach a considered judgement as to whether buying a particular piece of land for development is a worthwhile investment.
Although now an Executive Director of her own division, Kat remains a core member of our Planning team, who constantly call upon her research and analysis skills to allow them to fully act and respond to the local circumstances in which they work.
